What's a great kind of stand mixer?
I know that Kitchenaid is raved about, but I want to make sure I'm getting the right thing. I would want something equivalent to their professional model, so the bowl can be moved up and down. I would also want something more commercial, ie, more than 5 quarts. If anyone can recommend a brand or store where I can get something like this (and it's not too expensive) let me know.

i have been using my kitchenaid pro, which was refurbished, for 10 years now and have had not one problem with it....
and it does heavy duty work for me too.... i bake bread every day, and my motor has to be strong with a worthy dough hook attached to it...
i suggest looking for refurbished models if you are trying to save some money... they are sometimes 40 to 50 percent less..... although right now Amazon is having a great sale...
